Contact your Insurance Company or Broker and lodge a new claim

Tip: You will need to provide the details of the other party (if applicable) to your     insurance company. If police were called to the accident, it is important to obtain their reports for the claims process, as these can be used to determine who is at fault should any dispute arise.

Call us on 0800 Collision to book your car in for an assessment. We will determine what parts we require to repair your vehicle and plan a repair process for your vehicle.

Tip: If you have them, bring us the claim number and insurance details to help us manage your claim.

Our repairers will proceed with a digital quote, depending on the insurance company we will be dealing with. Our repairers will only require 10-15 minutes to assess your vehicle in person



We can then book your vehicle in for repairs. If needed, we will arrange a relief vehicle for the interim.

Tip: If you live in the Whangarei region and require an interim vehicle, now is the time to discuss a relief vehicle with us. Check your insurance policy for the relief vehicle option that may be included in your cover.



Repairs can commence as soon as we have insurance authorisation or your approval. Depending on the extent of the damage, repairs generally take 3-5 days to complete. Bigger jobs can take up to 3 weeks.



Expect us to call you to let you know how the repair is progressing and advise you on any updated time frames.



Once completed, if there is any excess owing, this must be paid to the insurance company or the repairer, depending on your policy.



We will follow up with you soon to make sure you are happy with your vehicle repairs.

Can’t get your vehicle in for an assessment?

If for some reason you are unable to bring your vehicle to us for an assessment, our special app allows you to send photos to our technicians for an initial digital consultation. Please note, our panel beaters may still need to assess your vehicle in person in order to complete their quotes.
